Myth: Superfit = Superhealthy
http://abcnews.go.com/2020/Story?id=2109291&page=2
I believe that being superfit doesn't make you superhealthy because when you are working out, you are burning fat and using up alot of energy so you have to eat after to get your energy back but most people after working out, eat like a little snack and some water. I never work out but I am still considered healthy. People generally are addicted to the way they look just if one person says anything about the way they look. Once someone judges you on the way you look, you automatically want to workout and fix it. Working out and being superfit is also addictive to certain people like bodybuilders and wrestlers.
In the excert I found on the ABC News website, Dr. Roizen discussed that "Maximum health doesn't require maximum fitness, you don't have to kill yourself to get the huge wonderful benefits of exercise." We both believe in the same thing that the myth is false and you can workout and be healthy, you don't need to do it for a long period of time for you to be fit, use me as an example.
